Your information on the platform

This notice explains how information submitted through Waafi Hub's Incubation Platform is used within applications, program delivery and participant support.

Information the platform may collect

Depending on the form or program, the platform may collect contact information, demographic information voluntarily requested by a program, business or enterprise information, application responses, course participation, assignments, assessments, coaching records, event participation and other program-delivery information.

Why the information is used

Information is used to review applications, communicate with applicants, administer programs and cohorts, deliver training and coaching, track participant progress, manage events and resources, support reporting and improve Waafi Hub's services.

Access and confidentiality

Platform access is role-based. Administrators and authorized Service Provider staff manage program operations; Trainers / Experts access information needed for assigned delivery; Trainees access their own participant workspace. Private uploaded resources are delivered through authenticated access controls.

Data sharing

Information may be used with authorized program teams and relevant implementation partners where this is necessary for program delivery, reporting or participant support. Applicant submissions are not displayed on the public Opportunities page.

Retention and correction

Records may be retained for operational, reporting, accountability and legitimate program administration needs. Logged-in participants can update supported profile fields, and program administrators can correct program-controlled records where necessary.

Security

The production platform uses role checks, secure sessions, CSRF protection, password hashing, login throttling, protected resource delivery and other application-level safeguards. No online system can eliminate every risk, so access should still be limited to authorized users and strong passwords should be used.

Application consent: submitting an application confirms that the applicant has reviewed the declaration presented on the application form and agrees to the stated use of their information for application review and program administration.
